Booking and Cancellation Policies
- For bookings via the VOURKARI VILLAGE website:
- The cost of the reservation is charged to the guest’s credit or debit card 15 days before the arrival.
- The payment is non-refundable in the event of cancellation within 15 days before the arrival, regardless of the reason (e.g. ship strikes, ship detention, conflagrations, floods, natural disasters, disease).
- For bookings via telephone or email:
- The advance payment equals to 25% of the total cost and cannot, in any case, be less than the amount charged for one overnight stay.
- The advance payment is refundable if cancellation is made 21 days prior to the agreed date of arrival.
- The advance payment is non-refundable in the event of cancellation within 21 days before the arrival, regardless of the reason (e.g. ship strikes, ship detention, conflagrations, floods, natural disasters, disease).
- The guest is required, within 3 working days from the booking date, to deposit the advance payment to the bank account and send a copy of the deposit via email, otherwise the reservation will be canceled.
- Bank charges are paid by the sender.
- The documents are issued in the name of the sender.
- The cost for overnight accommodation includes 13% VAT and the respective municipal tax. However, the additional overnight stay tax Climate Crisis Resilience Fee, which corresponds to 1,5 EUR/overnight stay, per room and which is paid directly at the hotel, is not included.
- Check in/Check out Policy:
- Check-in time after 15:00 to 19:00.
- Check-out time after 11:00. Clients occupying the room till 18:00 are charged extra 50% on room rate. If use is prolonged after 18:00, the entire room rate is to be charge.
- Losses or Damages on Hotel Property:
- The guest is responsible for any loss or damage in any hotel area during their stay, whether it is caused by them, their guests or their service personnel (breaking of glassware, plates, sinks, damages to furniture, carpets, linen etc.).
- Vourkari Village reserves the right to charge its guests with the repair cost for any damage caused by deliberate, negligent or reckless acts. If the damage is discovered during the guest’s stay, they will be notified immediately.
- Prior to relocating any items within the room, kindly inform the reception for proper coordination
- Policy for use of the room kitchenette:
Preparation of meals that might generate strong and lasting odors is prohibited.
- Children and extra beds:
- Infants are accommodated free of charge in a crib which is placed in the room upon availability.
- Placement of an extra bed is charged with € 15 per day.
- The extra beds may not be automatically included in the total cost. In cases as such, individual payment during your stay may be required.
- Additional information regarding the accommodation:
- Pets: allowed
- Smoking: strictly prohibited inside the room
- Guests are kindly requested to contact the hotel before their arrival to ensure that the preferred room arrangements are available.
