Information Coronavirus disease (COVID 19)

Dear visitors, partners, and friends

 

With a sense of responsibility, starting from May 12th, “Vourkari Village”, is operating according to all the relevant instructions from the Ministry of Tourism and the National Organization of Public Health.

Our goal is to keep our visitors, employees, partners, and residents of our island, safe and healthy, and for these reasons, after the coronavirus outbreak, the following measures are put in place:

  1. Daily check of the temperature of the employees when they arrive at the accommodation.
  2. All employees wear a mask and disposable gloves.
  3. Close Collaboration with the doctor of the Health Center of the island (telephone numbers 2288022200 and 6977142736) if a suspicious case occurs.
  4. Antiseptics, gloves and disposable masks are provided for all visitors which can be found at the Reception.
  5. The Check-in takes place outdoors after 15:00 and the check-out is no later than 11:00 in the morning so that there is enough time for a meticulous cleaning and disinfection of the apartments-rooms.
  6. The apartments-rooms have an independent entrance, an independent outdoor terrace or balcony which are at a safe distance from each other.
  7. A steam cleaner is used to disinfect the surfaces, sofas, etc. of the apartments.
  8. TV/AC controls are stored in disposable covers.
  9. The apartment-room keys are disinfected after guest -departure.
  10. Natural ventilation of the apartments is highly recommended by opening the windows and doors to your apartment and the window screens must be closed all the time for keeping out the insects and bugs from the apartments.
  11. «Breakfast in the basket» is a package with an assortment of breakfast food in individual packages intended for the kitchen-equipped apartments and delivered to you after calling the reception. Guests staying in the rooms without a kitchen may have their breakfast on the shared pergola in the reception area or can have their breakfast delivered to them the room after calling the reception
  12. We encourage the transactions to be made electronically or by card.
  13. It is recommended that the visitors pay the exact amount of the residence tax (0.5 euros per night per room) at check-out.
